eSIM compatible devices
Last updated:
Avena works on phones and tablets that support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Please check your phone before you buy a plan.
How to check your phone
- iPhone: go to Settings › Cellular (or Mobile Data) and look for “Add eSIM”.
- Android: go to Settings › Connections or Network & internet › SIM manager (or SIMs) and look for “Add eSIM”.
- Any phone: dial *#06#. If an EID number is shown, your phone supports eSIM.
- Unlocked: your phone must be carrier-unlocked. On iPhone, go to Settings › General › About and check that Carrier Lock says “No SIM restrictions”. On Android, ask your carrier if you are not sure.
