## FAQ

### Does the Сейшельские о-ва eSIM work on my phone?

Most phones sold since 2019 support eSIM, including iPhone XR and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Dial *#06#: if you see an EID line, your phone supports eSIM. The phone must be carrier-unlocked.

### When does my Сейшельские о-ва plan start?

Validity starts the first time the plan carries data in Сейшельские о-ва, not when you buy it. You can buy days or weeks before you travel.

### Do I need a new QR code for every plan?

No. You install the Avena eSIM once. Every plan you buy later, for Сейшельские о-ва or any other destination, is added to that same eSIM automatically.

### Can I use the eSIM as a hotspot?

Yes. Hotspot and tethering are allowed on every Avena plan at no extra cost.

### Do I need to show a passport or ID?

No. Avena plans need no passport, no ID upload and no registration with a local operator.

### Which networks does the Сейшельские о-ва eSIM use?

The eSIM connects to Avena's partner operators in Сейшельские о-ва. Where the operator supports it you get 4G or 5G speeds. Check the Plan details card on this page for the networks and speeds.

### Can I keep my own number?

Yes. The Avena eSIM is data only. Your regular SIM stays in the phone for calls and texts; turn off its mobile data abroad to avoid roaming charges.

### What happens when my data runs out?

Buy another plan in the app or on this site. It lands on the same eSIM in seconds and starts right away.

### Can I get a refund?

A plan that has never carried data can be refunded to your Avena wallet from the order page. Used plans are not refundable.

### How do I install the eSIM?

After your first purchase the app installs the eSIM in two taps on iOS 17.4 and newer and on Android. You can also scan a QR code or enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually.

### Does the eSIM work in other countries too?

The Сейшельские о-ва plan works in Сейшельские о-ва. For several countries, pick a regional plan or the Global plan; it goes on the same eSIM.

### How do I pay?

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or your Avena wallet balance. Prices are in US dollars.
